Player Tracker

As our guys get going with their spring baseball seasons, we want to keep everybody informed about their progress and the fruits of their labor in the facility during the offseason.  Because of stat availability and validity, we will track progress of our professional players, college players and high school varsity players.  Our pro guys are just reporting to spring training, high school baseball starts this weekend, but college baseball has been rolling for about a month.  Here is a report on our college players!

Hunter Donaldson  – Metropolitan State University of Denver

“Steez” has started all 14 of Metro’s games in the outfield, hitting at a mark of .288/.387/.365.  He sits at second on the team in doubles with 4 and has added 9 walks and 8 RBI.  Donaldson is coming off of a nice 3 for 6 game at the plate in the Roadrunner’s 12-9 win against RMAC rival CSU-Pueblo on March 5th.

Jake Thurston – Metropolitan State University of Denver

Jake has also started all 14 of Metro’s ballgames, with a line of .340/.407/.472.  Jake has added 4 doubles tying him for second on the club, and hit a home run at Emporia State on February 10th.  Thurston adds a ton of value with his glove in the middle infield, this year fielding at a .928 mark.

Spencer Ibarra – Ohio University

Spencer has played in all twelve, and has started eleven of Ohio’s ballgames.  He sits at 3rd on the team in hitting at .283, with a .333 on base percentage and slugging .370.  Ibarra has added a double and a homer, hitting at the top of the Ohio lineup.
